Maa Kalratri: Shardiya Navratri has special significance for those who believe in Hinduism. On the 9th day of Navratri, 9 different forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. Fasting is also observed. Durga Saptashati is recited to get the special grace of the mother. According to the Panchang, today is the seventh day of Navratri. Kalratri Mata is worshiped on this day.

 

It is said that the seventh form of Maa Durga i.e. Maa Kalratri is of black colour. Hence he was named Kalratri. This form of Maa Ambe is considered as the fierce form of Shakti. If you want to please Mata Kalratri, then offer her favorite flower Ratrani to her. According to the information, Maa Kalratri is worshiped for the attainment of Tantric accomplishment. This puja is done during Nisha Kaal i.e. at night. Worshiping Maa Kalratri gives fearlessness. Today you can chant some special mantras and get the blessings of Mata Rani. Maha Saptami will start from 08:46 pm on 1st October and will end on 02nd October at 06:47 pm.

The auspicious time of Brahma Muhurta on this day is from 04.43 am to 05.31 am.

Abhijeet Muhurta – 11.52 am – 12.40 pm

Amrit Kaal – Night 07.50 – Night 09.20

Nishita Muhurta – October 2, 11.52 – October 3, 12.41 (night worship time)

 

Significance of Maa Kalratri:

Goddess Kalratri got its name because of her Krishna varna (dark complexion). Maa Kalratri is also known as Shubhankari because she killed the demon Shumbh. The three-eyed goddess Kalaratri is seated on a donkey and holds Kharga, and Kanta (iron weapon) in her four arms.
